Many religions teach on giving to the poor, prayer and fasting. In this coming part of the Sermon on the Mount (Matt 6) Jesus looks past the method and gets to the motive. If our motive is pure, Jesus promises us a reward from God the Father.
This teaching is a foundational introduction to the three examples of the Righteous Life Jesus uses as examples. They are just examples. The principle behind them is the key to this Promised Life.

Continuing our Sermon on the Mount series, this teaching is an introduction on why Jesus compares the Old Testament (Mosaic) Law, what the religious leaders of the day taught, and what God really meant for six different examples in our life. Matthew 5:17-20.
We are picking back up the Sermon on the Mount series where we left off last fall. Today's teaching focuses on Matthew 5:17-20. In these passages Jesus tells us that he has not come to abolish the Law but has come to fulfill the Law.
This teaching is given by guest speaker Mike Lehnherr who is from Leavenworth,KS. The teaching, on Zechariah 4:1-10, is about not despising the days of small beginnings. In these passages the Lord is telling Zechariah that He is going to rebuild the temple in Jerusalem using the hands of Zerubbabel.
This is the last of a four part series on money and what the Bible has to say. We cover:
1. How should we give and who should we give to.
2. What amount should we give (it may surprise you).
3. What happens when we give. What happens to us, what happens to the money.
