Welcome to the website of the Vineyard Church in Lawrence. We are a relatively new, small group of people that believe in the existence of God, a historical Jesus, and the presence of the Holy Spirit in our everyday lives. Vineyard Church in Lawrence is part of an association of churches known as The Vineyard, A Community of Churches. The name of this association, formerly the Association of Vineyard Churches, was changed to better reflect the association's cohesive community. Church Leaders [1]

Rob Martin is the pastor of the Vineyard Church in Lawrence. Rob never intended to be a pastor, however, after graduating from Iowa State University and working in the transportation industry for five years, he finally started to pay attention to God's call on his life.  His training includes small group leadership, overseer (non-paid position of having oversight of multiple small groups), and completion of the Vineyard Leadership Institute [2]. Sunday Morning Services [2]

We meet every Sunday morning at 11:00 AM in the South Park Recreation Center on Massachusetts Street.  Occasionally due to scheduling conflicts we will switch to a different location.  More information about our church services can be found on our Sunday services page [2].

Driving Directions [2]

The Vineyard Church in Lawrence meets at the South Park Recreation Center at 1141 Massachusetts St. (map [3]).  We meet in the the building on the west side of the road, opposite of the gazebo. For information on locating our church please see our driving directions page [3].
