The University of Kansas is a major public research and teaching institution in Lawrence, KS.  KU really is the heartbeat of Lawrence and is located in the center of town on Mount Oread.  Our Sunday morning meeting location at South Park Recreation Center is only one mile from the center of KU's Jayhawk Blvd, the main avenue through the university's campus.

Being a part of KU's community is part of who we are at Vineyard Church in Lawrence.  We believe that young adults desire to have an impact in the world surrounding them and beyond. Young adults can be the church because they are the church. Part of our vision as a church is to help foster relationships between students and God.

As part of this desire to build relationships we demonstrate God's love to students through servant evangelism. Servant evangelism is sharing God's love to others in a small but tangible way. This might mean giving away cold bottles of water on a hot afternoon on campus or blessing students on Daisy Hill with dorm snacks. All of these activities point to the love of God, demonstrated through the love of God’s followers.
