As a church we are passionate about not only fostering our own relationships with God but also helping others foster their relationships with God. That is why our church actively participates in many different ministries. Below is a list of different ministries which are part of the Lawrence Vineyard Church.
Children are important parts of any church. During every Sunday morning service we hold a companion children's church called Camp Vineyard. Please visit the Camp Vineyard page for more information.
Mid-week groups are a great way to nurture the kind of friendships that a regular church services could never foster. The purpose of these mid-week groups is to help individuals foster their personal relationships with God in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere..Currently we have one mid-week group that meets every week on Wednesdays. Vineyard@KU is the Lawrence Vineyard Church's student organization at the University of Kansas. We believe that young adults desire to have an impact in the world surrounding them and beyond. Haskell Indian Nations University is a two and four year college for Native Americans in southeast Lawrence with students coming from all fifty states and over 100 Indian Nations. Getting to know these students has been very fun. As a member of the Haskell Interfaith Council, we have been active on campus for several years.
At the Vineyard Church in Lawrence we believe that it is important for a church to reach out and be a part of its community. Therefore, we participate in community activities several times a month. Activities range from hading out drinks on hot afternoons, to cleaning up Lawrence parks, to preparing and serving meals at the Lawrence Community Shelter.
